4160: Evaluation

All personnel shall be continuously evaluated by the appropriate supervisors to encourage improvement of the total school program.

The purpose of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Public Schools evaluation is three-fold: Ìý1) accountability; 2) professional growth; and 3) school improvement.


The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Public School District shall provide procedures for the evaluation of staff: Ìýsaid evaluation shall serve as a basis for the improvement of performance and continued employment in the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ School District. ÌýThe procedures shall provide for a source of information for sound decision making as well as for instructional coaching for staff development and for continual growth of all employees. ÌýThe procedures shall provide not only for the identification and improvement of staff skills and abilities that enhance the learning process, but also for the orderly dismissal of those who do not meet the standards of the District.
